How To Select Sand and Gravel Separator Machine

Sand and gravel separator machine realizes sand and gravel separation by using different particle sizes and specific gravity, and cooperating with water flow flushing or vibrating screening.

Sand and gravel separator machines are mainly divided into 2 types:

1. Concrete Sand Gravel Separator
2. Aggregate Sand Screening Separator

The specific selection depends on whether you are dealing with waste concrete or sieving natural sand.

Concrete Sand-Gravel Separator: It is specially provided for the mixing plant to separate and recover the sand, stone and water left in the concrete after cleaning the tank truck, so as to realize zero discharge of sewage and achieve separation efficiency of above 95%.

The concrete separator is also equipped with a three-level sedimentation tank, and the sewage is recycled for cleaning after sedimentation and filtration, so as to really prevent the wastewater from being discharged.

Drum Screen: The screen mesh inside the drum retains large stones while allowing fine sand to pass through. It is applicable to river sand extraction, aggregate plants and construction sites for grading muddy sand and stone by particle size, with both mobile and stationary versions available.

Vibrating Screen: High-frequency vibration stratifies materials on the screen surface, and materials of different particle sizes are discharged from separate outlets. It is widely adopted for mixed materials of waste soil, sand and stone. It can separate organic impurities from aggregates, boasting high screening efficiency and outstanding wear resistance.

Spiral Classifier: By low-speed rotation of the spiral, it stirs the slurry to suspend fine particles, which then overflow at the overflow weir. Coarse particles settle at the bottom of the tank and are transported by the spiral to the discharge port.

Mud Stone Separator: Designed for raw ores with high clay content, this equipment first breaks up clay clods, screens out mud, and then separates sand and stone, serving as pre-processing separation equipment for raw materials.

Materials keep stratifying while rolling on the screen surface: fine particles sink down, and large particles roll forward. Mud scrapers are installed under the screen shafts to clear sticky residual particles, keeping the screen apertures unclogged throughout the screening process.
