150 T/H Hydrocyclone Sand Washing Plant For Almaty Kazakhstan
This client is a leading concrete producer in Almaty Kazakhstan market with over 15 years of industry experience. They are currently exploring potential suppliers for a new 150 t/h sand washing plant for their sand quarry operation.
The Almaty customer is particularly interested in a complete solution using hydrocyclone technology, preferably including screening, washing, dewatering, and water/sludge treatment and recycling.
After comparing multiple suppliers, the customer ultimately settled on our HS-Series Sand Washing System as the core sand washing unit.
Sand Washing Process Flow
Raw Sand Materials→ Feeding & Screening → HS Sand Washer → Hydrocyclone Classification & Desliming + Fine Sand Recovery → High Frequency Dewatering Screen to obtain clean finished sand with low moisture content.
The sludge generated during sand washing flows into the wastewater treatment unit. Sludge is filter pressed for dry stacking, while clarified water is recycled back to the sand‑washing production line.
Sand Washing Process Highlights
1. Core Host: HS Sand Wash System
- Built‑in hydrocyclone uses centrifugal force to deslime sand and gravel, separate coarse and fine fractions, and recover fine sand, fully meeting the customer’s requirement for hydrocyclone‑based technology.
- It combines washing, classification, fine‑sand recovery and finished‑product dewatering in one unit, delivering two types of sand with different sizes in a single process.
- Wear‑resistant ceramic liners are fitted inside the hydrocyclone chamber to resist abrasion from slurry, supporting long‑term continuous operation under mine‑site conditions.
2. Zero‑Discharge Wastewater System
- Equipped with a sludge deep cone thickener and high-pressure diaphragm filter press. Water from sand washing is treated and recirculated back into the washing system, greatly cutting fresh water cost— an ideal solution for water-scarce region.
3. Optimized for Cold‑Climate Operation
- Pipelines and water tanks are fitted with thermal insulation against freezing.
- Low temperature resistant components are adopted for the electrical system, so the equipment can work reliably through cold Kazakhstan winters.
4. Modular Design
- All units are pre‑fabricated at our factory for easy container shipment to the customer’s site. On‑site assembly reduces welding work and installation time.
