Slag treatment mainly utilizes the differences in the physical properties of the various components of ash and slag to realize the recovery of valuable metals such as iron, copper, and zinc through screening, crushing, impurity removal, magnetic separation, non-ferrous metal sorting, precious metal sorting, tailings recovery, wastewater treatment, and more other processes.
Slag resource utilization refers to converting industrial slag (usually waste slag produced in metallurgy, mining, energy, and other industries) into valuable products or uses to reduce environmental pollution and improve resource utilization efficiency. The sorted slag is used to prepare recycled blocks, etc.
What is slag?
Slag is a by-product of domestic waste incineration, which is produced in large quantities and has high resource utilization potential. After domestic waste is incinerated, about 20%-30% of slag will be produced. Slag is mainly a heterogeneous mixture of particles composed of ceramics, masonry fragments, stone, glass, slag, iron, and other scrap metals and unburned combustibles.
