The Vibrating Screen Components

Vibrating screens are generally composed of vibrators, screen boxes, support or suspension devices, transmission devices, etc. The working principle of the vibrating screen is to use a motor to drive the vibrator to make the screen box vibrate at a certain frequency, thereby separating and screening the materials on the screen surface.

Vibrating screen components

1. Screen box: a component welded from steel plates of different thicknesses, with a certain strength and rigidity, is the main component of the linear vibrating screen.

2. Screen mesh: Common materials include low carbon steel, brass, bronze, stainless steel wire and other materials.

3. Screen frame: usually made of pine or wood with less bending, used to keep the screen flat and maintain the normal screening and grading of the vibration equipment.

4. Motor pedestal: mainly used to install the exciter, and the connecting screws need to be tightened before use. Especially for newly purchased linear vibrating screen equipment, it should be tightened repeatedly to avoid loosening of the equipment and causing accidents.

5. Vibration-damping spring: It can prevent the vibration from being transmitted to the ground, causing abnormal vibration of the equipment. At this time, the full weight of the screen box is supported, and the spring is perpendicular to the ground.

6. Bracket: It is composed of four pillars and two channel steels, supporting the screen box. When installed, the pillars are perpendicular to the ground, and the channel steels under the two pillars should be parallel to each other.

When the vibrating screen is working, the two motors rotate synchronously in opposite directions to make the vibrator produce reverse exciting force, forcing the screen to be suitable for screening sand and gravel in quarries, and can also be used for product classification in industries such as coal preparation, mineral processing, building materials, electricity and chemicals. The vibrating screen has a good screening effect, but its structure is complex, and it is not widely used.
