The chrome wash plant includes crushing, flotation, gravity separation, and drying. These processing steps yield high-quality chromium ore products that meet the needs of various industrial sectors. Chromium ores mainly include chromite, chromite, and chromaluminite. The main characteristics of chromium ores are high hardness, high density, high melting point, and stable chemical properties.
Chrome wash plant
1. Crushing and screening
Large chromium ore are initially crushed in a jaw crusher, then further crushed into a cone crusher. Finally, they are screened into different sizes by a vibrating screen, with the undersize products being re-crushed in the cone crusher.
2. Grinding and Classification
After passing the screening, the stone is sent to the ball mill for grinding. Then it enters the spiral classifier to be classified by gravity. The unqualified slurry is returned to the ball mill for further grinding.
3. Flotation and drying
After classification, the slurry material that meets the flotation requirements will be put into a mixing tank with an appropriate amount of reagent. After being thoroughly mixed, it will be sent to the flotation machine. After the reagent reacts completely with the slurry, chromium concentrate can be obtained. Then, it will enter the thickener for high-energy concentration and dewatering, and then enter the dryer for drying.
