  • Overview

    The sand washing workstation is an upgraded version of the traditional wheel sand washing & recycling machine. On the original basis, it not only improves the quality of accessories, but also greatly improves the structure:

    1. Add high pressure water at the feeding end and discharging port of wheel washing machine to clean the material several times.
    2. Increase the volume of the water tank under the screen, and install water refill and rinse at the bottom and top of the water tank to avoid sand accumulation in the water tank.
    3. The inlet and outlet of the slurry pump are all soft-connected flanges, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, easy to install. It can also reduce the impact of vibration on other welds during pump operation.
    4. The slurry pump group adopts sliding installation mode for later maintenance and repair.
    5. The main shaft bearing and bearing seat of the wheel bucket adopt COC rolling bearing units imported from Japan. Contact sealing protection makes the sealing lip and dust cover contact effectively and evenly within the range of ±2°self-aligning. Stainless steel protective cover can shield dirt more, protect the bearing.
    6. The standard taper sleeve is adopted to fix the bearing and shaft, which is convenient for quick connection.
    7. The wheel bucket adopts high-efficiency heavy-duty transmission system, four-stage deceleration torque. It has strong bearing capacity, stable work, low failure rate, suitable for sand aggregate production, tailings and other heavy materials washing.
    8. SPCC steel plate is adopted in the screen of wheel, with high strength and high opening rate, which is conducive to sewage passing.
    9. The overflow weir of the wheel washing tank adopts the principle of oblique plate blocking settlement, which greatly reduces the loss of fine sand.
    10. The equipment has made the overall safety protection, the whole wheel bucket diameter is large, the moment of inertia is large, and the safety risks must be reduced. Therefore, the steel plate stretching net is used as safety protection here, which can not only play a protective role but also see the operation of the wheel bucket.


  • Working principle

    1. When the mixture of sand, water and mud enters the water tank of the wheel sand washing machine, there is a transverse baffle inside the water tank, which can effectively prevent the mixed material from entering the wheel bucket directly, so that it can be fully mixed and stirred in the water tank. At the same time, the residence time of the sand in the water tank is increased, and then separated by the impeller separator. When the wheel bucket leaves the water surface, high-pressure water curtain is sprayed to squeeze out more mud water in the wheel bucket. When the wheel bucket takes the sand to the discharge port, water is sprayed again to further achieve the cleaning effect.

    2. After a cycle of washing, the water tank will overflow the waste water (containing fine sand, mud and other impurities) with the injection of clean water. The principle of inclined plate settlement is adopted to reduce fine sand loss in overflow weir. The waste water enters the tank under the screen and is transported to the hydrodynamic separator by horizontal centrifugal slurry pump. Then the fine sand after centrifugal classification and concentration is discharged into the upper layer of the dewatering screen through the sand sink nozzle for dehydration operation.

    3. The waste water, mud, dust and impurities in the wheel washing tank and the screen under the water tank are treated by the hydrodynamic separator, and the waste water containing a very small amount of fine sand is discharged through the overflow port into the high return tank and then out for treatment. It effectively protects the back-end sewage treatment equipment and reduces the working pressure.
