BL Apron Feeder

Overview

Apron feeder is one of the most widely used heavy-duty, impact-resistant and anti-blocking continuous feeding equipment in the mining industry.

Apron feeder adopts circulating chain movement to provide traction power, and uses high-strength apron plates as the bearing surface to stably convey all kinds of lumpy and granular materials. It is especially suitable for wet, sticky, agglomerated and large lump materials.

Working principle

A apron feeder mainly consists of chains, apron plates, driving units and frame.

When working, the motor drives the sprocket wheel to rotate. The circulating movement of the chain drives continuous operation of the apron plates. Ores to be conveyed, such as large rocks and gravel, are placed on the apron plates and delivered evenly with plate movement.

Our BL series apron feeder can adjust the conveying capacity by changing the belt speed or inclination angle to meet the requirements of different working processes.

1. The smooth apron plate surface avoids material adhesion, meeting the conveying demands of various complex materials. Its blocking rate is reduced by over 90% compared with vibrating feeders.

2. Apron plates are made of high-manganese steel or wear-resistant alloy, with a service life of 2–5 years, capable of withstanding full-bin heavy pressure and impact from large lump materials.

3. Flexible layout with an inclination angle adjustable from 0° to 30°, customizable according to actual site conditions.
