I. What is Polyurethane Material?
Polyurethane (PU), full name polycarbamate, is a high-molecular polymer with outstanding mechanical properties synthesized by polyol and polyisocyanate through polycondensation reaction, featuring excellent plasticity.
The performance of polyurethane elastomer lies between plastic and rubber. It boasts oil resistance, wear resistance, low-temperature resistance, anti-aging property, high hardness and good elasticity. Its hardness, elasticity and wear resistance can be customized freely by adjusting formulas, making it the core material for mining wear-resistant spare parts.
II. Why Choose Polyurethane Screen Panels?
① Polyurethane screen panels are produced via mold casting process with a 140° taper angle, which effectively reduces material blinding. The blinding rate is 70%–80% lower than that of metal screen panels.
② The service life of polyurethane screen panels is 2 to 3 times longer than metal screen panels. Its wear resistance is 3–5 times that of ordinary manganese steel screen panels, 3 times that of stainless steel screen meshes, and over 4 times that of rubber screen panels. It also delivers noise reduction performance.
③ Integral one-piece mold casting ensures uniform and standard aperture sizes without deformation caused by steel plate punching, so the discharge particle size remains stable and controllable.
④ Lightweight polyurethane screen panels reduce equipment load and power consumption. Under the same area, their weight is only 1/5 to 1/3 of steel screen panels.
⑤ With excellent corrosion resistance and hydrolysis resistance, they are suitable for wet mineral processing and high-humidity working conditions such as coal washing, tailings dry stacking and sand washing.
⑥ Polyurethane screen panels are available with embedded connection, bolt connection and other connection structures to meet the demands of various industrial scenarios.
LZZG independently controls the entire production process, ranging from prepolymer raw material procurement, casting forming, vulcanization and curing to finished product inspection. All complete machines matched with screen panels will undergo load and vibration fatigue tests before delivery, with a 100% factory pass rate.
